Hunt for Hunger
Each fall, Leadership League coordinates a food drive where CASNR student organizations collect non-parishable food items and donate to a local food shelter.

 

TAKE A WALK
Leadership League and and other students take a one mile walk  to support causes to Fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. Every mile walked raises funds to support one of five causes, facing great challenges in Africa. Leadership League will be hosting another walk this spring semester.

SHACK-A-THON
Leadership League and the Freshmen in Transistion Program joined together during the fall 2008 semester to build "shack" on library lawn. Once built, students collected funds to donate to Habitat for Humanity.  Shack-A-Thon is a two day event. During the first day, shacks and are built and then students collect donations until the next afternoon.  Some students choose to sleep in the shack over night.  The date has not yet been announced the spring 2009 semester, however, Leadership League is planning to participating again this year and joining with another organization.
