American Association for Agricultural Education (AAAE) Western Region Conference

A group of faculty and students from our department participated in the Western Region Conference for the American Association for Agricultural Education (AAAE) held last month in Anchorage, Alaska.

Attendees of the conference included three faculty members and two students. Faculty attendees included: Dwayne Cartmell, Dr. Jon W. Ramsey and Dr. Robert Terry Jr. . Student attendees included: Katy Teixeira and Jessica Tombs.

Oklahoma State University’s AECL department was represented in several categories.

Faculty Awards

  • Western Region AAAE Outstanding Agricultural Communicator: Dwayne Cartmell. Dr. Cartmell is the first recipient of this award.
  • Western Region AAAE Outstanding Agricultural Educator: Jon Ramsey
