Jon Ramsey selected as AAAE Western Region Outstanding Teacher

Last week, a group of AECL faculty participated in the Annual Conference and Research Meeting of the Western Region of the American Association for Agricultural Education in Hawaii. At the event, Dr. Jon Ramsey was recognized with the Outstanding Teacher Award, and his nomination packet will be forwarded for the national award competition. Ramsey, along with Dr. Marshall Baker, Dr. Dwayne Cartmell, Dr. Shane Robinson and Dr. Rob Terry represented OSU at the conference.

Last week, a group of AECL faculty participated in the Annual Conference and Research Meeting of the Western Region of the American Association for Agricultural Education in Hawaii. At the event, Dr. Jon Ramsey was recognized with the Outstanding Teacher Award, and his nomination packet will be forwarded for the national award competition.

Ramsey, along with Dr. Marshall Baker, Dr. Dwayne Cartmell, Dr. Shane Robinson and Dr. Rob Terry represented OSU at the conference. Baker, Cartmell, Ramsey and Terry were each elected as regional representatives to national committees. In addition to research presentations and association business, the conference included tours of Hawaiian agricultural sites such as a coffee farm, cocoa farm and chocolate processor, and honey operation.
