Mandy (Fritz) Gross ('06) and her husband, JW, welcomed Oakley Tabor Gross on Dec. 30, 2006. Julie (Cox) Focht ('99) ('01) and her husband, Dustin, welcomed a baby girl, Jacie Faith, October 7, 2006. Lori (Hatfield) Dickerson ('94) and her husband, Mike, welcomed Samuel on July 25, 2006. Ryan Hale ('04) married Rebecca Ross, ANSI ('05), on June 24, 2006, in Austin, Texas. Shayla Givens ('99) was married to Robert Simpson on October 28, 2006, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Courtney Hentges ('06) was married to Wesley Gutekunst, MKTG ('06) on August 5, 2006, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Kendra Kelton ('03) was married to Joseph Phillips on July 1, 2006, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Shannon Web ('03) (04) was married to Phil Denniston on September 9, 2006, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Cowboys On the Move James Griffeth ('97) recently accepted a position with Bank of America in the Specialty Asset Management Farm and Ranch division, overseeing NE Texas and Shandee (Smith) Harrell ('94) (M.S. MassComm '02) recently accepted a part-time position at the communications coordinator for St. Joseph High School in Victoria. Texas. She and her husband Wade Harrell (MS Plant and Soil Sciences '01 and Ph.D. Plant and Soil Sciences '04) reside in Victoria, Texas, were Wade is the coastal prairies project director for the Nature Conservancy of Texas. Grant Gungoll ('04) was recently awarded a promotion with Johnston Enterprises where his responsibilities include grading grain and caring for the needs of clients. Rachel Bobbit ('05) accepted a position with the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in the School of Allied Health as a Lead Advisor. Her responsibilities include recruitment and advisement of prospective students. Mahlon Hunt ('00) has been promoted to Vice President/Account Supervisor. Hunt has been with Jordan Associates since 2001 where he started as an Account Coordinator. He currently supervises a diverse group of the agency’s clients, where he is known for strategic thinking as well as the ability to deliver multiple projects on-time and budget. Gretchen Adams ('05) joined Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. as a desktop publisher and designer. Wycliffe translates bibles for the bibleless people of the world and is striving to reach all languages by 2025. Abby (Payne) Cash ('01) recently assumed the position of Director of Oklahoma Agritourism. Brooke (Hayton) Tidwell ('04) is the new Communications Coordinator for Ardmore Higher Education Center. Cammie Johnson ('99) accepted a postion with Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) as a Senior Sales Rep in the swine group. Ashley Carroll ('06) accepted a position with the Oklahoma Beef Council as the Director of Industry Relations.
